ABOUT ASTARTE

I am deeply passionate and committed to personal growth, integrative healing, dreamwork, art, and tapping into boundless wisdom within the body, mind and spirit. It is my honor to hold space for my clients to do the same. I provide a warm and non-judgmental space for you to explore where you are and discover where you want to be. I am interactive, responsive and grounded. I make space for laughter, as well as tears.

I graduated from JFK University with a Masters in Holistic Counseling Psychology. This degree specialized in Transpersonal & Somatic Therapy, focusing on the interconnectedness of spirituality and the body to deepen and inform psychological work.

After graduation, I went on to do a yearlong training in Expressive Arts Therapy, to become nationally Certified as an Expressive Arts Practitioner (CEAP).
I am a State Certified Hypnotherapist (CHT). I have extensive training in EMDR, Brainspotting, and Sensorimotor. 
In addition to my Clinical therapeutic trainings, I am trained by Shiloh Sophia McCloud as an Intentional Creativity Teacher.
I Studied with HeatherAsh Amara to become a Warrior Goddess facilitator.
As a Certified Dreamwork Professional (CDP) I have extensive training from The Institute for the Study of Dreams (IDS), as well as working dreams within my own small weekly dream consultation group.   

Prior to my work as a psychotherapist, I worked for 20 years in the healing arts as a massage therapist.  This greatly informs my current work with incorporating somatic inquiry and intuitive arts.

In my free time I enjoy walks, studying tarot, muse dates (solo or with friends), dance, painting, writing, reading, and spending time with my partner and daughter.
